DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Samphire uses Royal Mail signed for 2nd Class delivery. The current delivery price for one parcel is £6.00.  It is our aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days from receipt of order. If there is a problem with dispatch we will notify you within 24 hours of ordering and we will endeavour to satisfactorily resolve any issues immediately.

Packaging

Samphire has an eco-friendly packaging policy and is committed to helping to reduce the unnecessary amount of plastic that is often used for packaging.

ALL packaging has been carefully sourced for its eco-friendly approach and will be a combination of the following:-

  • Biodegradable cellophane wrapping (to keep dirt off the lampshades)
  • Recyclable void fill elements such as paper, card, and / or Ecoflo maize based starch chips which are 100% biodegradable and safely soluble in water
  • Recyclable and / or recycled cardboard boxes
  • 100% recyclable Kraft paper packaging tape

Samphire has a commitment to the environment and will always use plastic free packaging. Any returned lampshade MUST be in the original plastic free packaging. We do not insist however that the sealing tape you use is plastic free as you may not have this to hand

Returns

Change of mind

We hope you will be delighted with your order which has been made with the utmost care and attention. However, you may cancel your order up to 14 days (10 working days) after your order has been delivered, and must be returned in unused, perfect condition in its original packaging with its protective cellophane intact, within 14 days(10 working days) of you notifying us of your change of mind. You will be responsible for the cost of return delivery which must be made by a guaranteed and trackable service, as Samphire will not be liable for returned items lost in transit.

Refunds will be dealt with immediately, however, please bear in mind that refunds to Paypal can take up to 30 days and are subject to Paypal refund policies.

Damage in transit

All Samphire products are carefully checked and packaged before dispatch and should reach you in perfect condition. If they have been damaged in transit, please contact us either by email sarah@samphireshades.co.uk or by phone 07794 304219 within 5 working days of delivery. As the delivery is signed for, if there is any damage to the packaging, this must be brought to the attention of the delivery driver at the point of signing. The product will need to be returned in the original packaging (if possible) and a full refund will be made (including your return postage) upon receipt.
